To
install one of our hoods, there is no trimming, cutting or adding
involved to fit properly. Our hand laid hoods come out of
molds smooth and with a wave free surface. Our hoods are
easy to install, your stock (OEM) hinges and latch mechanism will
mount easily, eliminating the need for hood pins. However,
if drag racing or hard driving, hood pins are recommended as a
safety precaution.
Champion Fiberglass Products uses a special high grade resin
that will withstand high temperatures under the hood. This
helps to eliminate damage to the painted surface or the creation
of waves in the fiberglass.
Our hoods are reinforced in hinge and latch areas and
are guaranteed to fit on vehicles with properly aligned frames
and body panels.
